Nolin River Canoe is a family owned operation that's big on service. We want our nature lovers to enjoy their day with complete confidence that their needs will be met. Below, you'll find several suggestions for Nolin River canoe/kayak trips. However, we can customize any trip from 2 hours to overnight canoeing/camping.
Our most popular float is 2.5 to 4 hours long. The scenery is camera appointed especially in the early dawn hours or near dusk. This area of the Nolin River has a gentle current that moves you along at a leisurely pace. Along the way, you can explore creeks, stop at the gravel bars for swimming or exploring, and of course, fishing. Fishing is often good on the backside of the gravel bars.
For those wanting to stay in the river longer, we also recommend a trip that's just as pristine as our most popular. This trip can vary from 4 to 6 hours long, and may be a bit much for little tykes. As with all of our floats, this part of the Nolin River is tree canopied with rock formations on either side along the route. No gravel bars are along this trip, but rest assured that it has its own treasures: a big island for playing, exploring or swimming is along this stretch as well as a cave.
If you're looking for a canoe/kayak trip that will keep you in the Nolin River all day, we have the perfect route for you and/or your family. Around every curve in the river is a new sight! It's a relaxing float that is meant to be enjoyed without a time schedule. Bring your camera for this one!
